Identified Gravestone Carvers
March 2002 - The following gravestone carvers in Walker-Blake Graveyard have been identified by Laurel K. Gabel, Pittsford, NY, nationally known gravestone authority and co-author with Theodore Chase of Gravestone Chronicles, New England Genealogical Society, Boston, 1990. The list is ordered by gravestone number, name on gravestone with date of death, followed by the gravestone carver. This list which will expand as conservation continues.
