How You Can Help
The more help we have, the lighter the load! We could use your help in a number of areas.
- Restore remaining gravestones
- I live in New Jersey so I can’t just stop in to check up on things. If you live in Taunton, you could check out the graveyard and let me know if there are any problems.
- Some of the gravestones need to be cleaned. Fannin-Lehner could provide a training class to those people who would like to learn the proper cleaning techniques used in gravestone restoration.
- We need to have the vegetation cut back periodically.
- As a non-profit organization, we have to raise funding from public donations to maintain our tax exempt status. We have to have public support. As such, we do mail letters asking for contributions. It’s a lot of work. Could use some help with the mailings.
- Of course, sending in a check for a tax deductible donation always works!
